Thank You!

Dear Friend,

I would like to thank all the voters of Needham who responded to our message with their votes. I look forward to serving all the citizens of Needham as a member of the Board of Selectmen. Thanks also to John Bulian, Matt Borrelli and Scott Brightman for the camaraderie we shared on the campaign trail over the past six weeks.

I am so grateful to my dedicated volunteer campaign staff, who gave countless hours and their hearts to the effort. Special thanks go to Harmony Wu who directed the campaign, to Sheila Pransky who provided guidance and sage advice, to Michael Greis and Cliff Hayden who built an incredible data base and website, and finally to David Drake who kept us on budget and stepped in to fill gaps in the organization at key times. Also advice received from Jerry Wasserman was much appreciated.

And finally special thanks to Carol Boulris who urged this on me for years and to my wife Elizabeth who helped in every way possible and a very special thanks to Hazel and Oscar Hornick-Wu who let their mom help so much in the campaign without ever complaining.

Finally, I want to thank Jack Cogswell, who first introduced me both to political life in Needham and to membership in the Needham Historical Society, and with whom I have worked on many projects over the years.

Sincerely,

Maurice “Moe” Handel
